Camille Keim

Hi! My name is Camille Keim and I am thrilled to be teaching grade three this year at Beiseker Community School! I am looking forward to getting to know each student in my class as well as their families. Teaching is a passion of mine and I am looking forward to all of the exploring, learning, and fun that we will have in our classroom this year! I grew up in B.C. but have called Alberta my home for the past 5 years. I am married to my wonderful husband, Randy, and we have a friendly dog named Bo who loves to go swimming and hiking! We moved into our home in Irricana this summer and look forward to being a part of the community! I my completed a Bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia after previously obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Geography and History. Outside of the classroom I enjoy travelling, exploring nature (i.e., gardening and hiking), crafting, reading and baking. I believe that it is my role as a teacher to challenge your child to discover and pursue their individual gifts and interests by understanding and supporting their learning needs. Children will be kept at the center of my decision making. I will work to inspire passion and curiosity within each student, as well as, help them find their voice. Our classroom activities will foster independence and provide opportunities for your child to feel empowered. I am looking forward to sharing this year with you!
