Rocky Mountain Book Award (RMBA) Book Club 2015-2016

The Alberta Rocky Mountain Book Award is a "readers' choice" award designed to encourage and empower students in Western Canada in grades 4 – 7. A group of 14 students have been selected by their teachers to participate in the book club and meet with Mrs. Edwards in the Learning Commons on Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 - 10:30 am. They are reading a minimum of 5 books each from from a pre-selected shortlist of 20 books and will soon vote for their favourite Canadian book. Students in this club and throughout Alberta will have a voice in determining the 2016 winner!

Voting will be open to students after Easter weekend and will close on April 20, 2016.

The Winner will be announced on April 22, 2016

Students in this program will demonstrate their learning and their literacy leadership at the Spring Celebration of Learning on Friday, April 29th.
